10. Men disciple men and women disciple women
09. Start on time and end on time
08. Follow the plan
07. Be a good example
06. Ask open-ended questions
05. Listen when he or she talks... really listen
04. Share from your life and experiences with the Lord
03. Personalize and individualize the material to each disciple
02. Challenge disciples to disciple others after you have taken them through the process
01. Pray for them daily. You may be the only one doing so

10. Don't lend large amounts of money
09. Don't under-state the importance of engaging the discipleship process
08. Don't disciple in a group setting. Keep it one-on-one
07. Don't monopolize the session by talking too much
06. Don't act shocked when the person you're discipling shares things from their life
